“Enchanted Forest.” Mud Lake Open Space in Nederland is the location of the 9th Annual Enchanted Forest hosted by The Wild Bear Center for Nature Discovery. The event includes guided nature tours, goodie bags, marimba music, a natural gift shop, a chance to meet friendly forest animals and lots of surprises. Inside the creative mind. Explore the artistic process and discover new artists at Boulder’s Open Studios program from noon to 6 p.m. today and Sunday and Oct. 10-11. Art lovers young and old are welcomed into studios around town to see how artists do what they do. Pick up an optional guidebook for $12 at many Boulder-area locations, including Whole Foods Markets and Barnes & Noble, and map out a tour.
