Museum applauds Colorado furniture maker
Dan Rieple is a Larkspur craftsman whose more than 25 years in woodworking have produced a desire to experiment with new styles, shapes, designs and materials. That adventurism recently paid off as Rieple won three major awards during the prestigious Cody High Style show at the Buffalo Bill Historical Center in Cody, Wyo. The accolades — Best in Show, Exhibitor’s Choice and People’s Choice — were for the writing desk pictured here, which is called “The Least of These.” “It pays to keep on trying, keep on believing, keep on creating, and one day you will be rewarded,” Rieple says.
