Kanye West: Now you see him, now you don’t.

Ah, last-minute cancellations: The bane of a well-honed schedule.

Despite what it says in my printed “Hot Tix” column in today’s Denver Post Entertainment section, Kayne West and Lady Gaga will NOT be playing the Pepsi Center on Dec. 2 for their “Fame Kills” tour. In fact, the whole tour was canceled yesterday afternoon — two days after it was announced, and two days before tickets were supposed to go on sale for the Denver date. No reason was given by promoters Live Nation.

Blame early pre-printing deadlines for the print appearance (we send our Friday sections to the printer on Wednesday nights). You can also blame them for the appearance of Paramore in my “Best Shows” column today. The mall rockers were supposed to play the Fillmore on Sunday, but an e-mail from Atlantic Records this morning revealed that lead singer Hayley Williams has gotten laryngitis, forcing the band to cancel and reschedule all dates through Oct. 9.

-KANYE WEST AND LADY GAGA “FAME KILLS” TOUR CANCELLED-

Los Angeles, CA (October 1, 2009) – Live Nation announced today that the Kanye West and Lady Gaga “Fame Kills” tour has been cancelled.

Refunds are available at the point of purchase. Tickets purchased online and via phone will be refunded automatically.

The Denver date (December 2) was scheduled to go on sale Saturday October 3.

-PARAMORE POSTPONE TOUR DATES-

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
October 2, 2009

Paramore regret to announce that all dates beginning in San Francisco this evening through October 9th in St. Paul will be postponed due to a case of laryngitis for singer Hayley Williams. The tour will resume in Chicago on October 10th. Tickets for all postponed dates will be honored at the rescheduled dates listed below. Refunds may also be claimed at point of purchase.

The new dates will be:
