This weekend marks the end of the Minnesota Twins’ Metrodome era (1982-2009), and not many players are sad to see it go, visitors included. “It’s hard for me to say anything positive about the Metrodome,” Angels outfielder Torii Hunter, a former Twin, told . “I never was a big fan of the Metrodome.” Still, the Metrodome served the city of Minneapolis well, providing a home for the Twins, Vikings, Gophers and briefly the Timberwolves. It remains the only stadium to host the World Series, Super Bowl and Final Four. The Twins will move outdoors to Target Field next season. The Associated Press
