MINNEAPOLIS—A Massachusetts man and a woman from New York City are the winners of this year’s Twin Cities marathon.
Jason Hartmann of Concord, Mass., finished in just over two hours and 12 minutes, officially 2:12:16.
Twenty-year-old Ilsa Paulson of New York City won the women’s race in just over two hours 31 minutes, officially 2:31:49. Paulson’s time qualifies her for the 2012 Olympic trials.
Paulson beat 45-year-old Colleen De Reuck of Boulder, Colo., by about a minute. The four-time Olympian finished in 2:32:37.
The 28th Annual Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon started early Sunday on a course that took runners from downtown Minneapolis to the finish line at the state Capitol in St. Paul.
