LINCOLN, Neb.—Now that repairs have been completed on a pumping system, water is flowing back into Bowling Lake northwest of Lincoln.
The lake should be full by the end of this month.
The city, the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission and other state agencies have been rehabilitating the aquatic habitat and fishing at Bowling Lake over the past two years.
The lake has bluegill, largemouth bass and channel catfish. Rainbow trout are scheduled to be stocked this fall and winter.
