
LOS ANGELES — The Rockies’ 2009 playoff path follows a trail similar to the one the led them to the World Series in 2007.
Major League Baseball announced this afternoon that Wednesday’s Game 1 of the National League Divisional Series between the Rockies and Phillies at Philadelphia’s Citizens Bank Park will begin at 12:37 p.m. (MDT). Thursday’s Game 2 also will start at 12:37 p.m. All games will be broadcast on TBS.
Saturday’s Game 3 at Coors Field is scheduled to begin at 7:37 p.m. MDT.
During the Rockies’ wild ride to the World Series in 2007, the Rockies beat the Phillies 4-2 and 10-5 at Citizens Bank Park in the first two games of NLDS. They finished their sweep of the Phillies with a 2-1 victory in Game 3 at Coors Field.
