BOULDER, Colo.—A 4-month-old baby from Lafayette has died after suffering injuries authorities say were inflicted by his father.
The Boulder County coroner’s office is investigating the death Monday of Jack Sebastian Koller. He had been in and out of the hospital since July, when his parents first took him there.
Authorities say Jack had a skull fracture, bruises and bite marks.
Prosecutors are waiting for the coroner’s report to decide whether to increase the charges against the baby’s father, 26-year-old Benjamin Koller. The father is charged with child abuse resulting in serious bodily injury and is being held in the Boulder County jail.
