LINCOLN, Neb.—Nebraska senior Kelsey Griffin has been named to the preseason All-Big 12 team for the third consecutive season.
The forward from Eagle River, Alaska, is the only member of the five-player squad to earn three preseason selections. The two-time, first-team All-Big 12 pick missed all of the 2008-09 season with a foot injury.
Griffin is the top career rebounder in the Big 12.
Oklahoma State’s Andrea Riley, Kansas’ Danielle McCray, Oklahoma’s Danielle Robinson and Texas’ Brittainey Raven round out the team, which was selected by league coaches.
