A United Airlines employee got his hand trapped in a piece of equipment this afternoon at Denver International Airport.
The worker was at Gate 38B when his hand became caught in a cargo loading ramp, police said. It took rescue workers about half an hour to free the employee, who was transported to Denver Health Medical Center at 4:15 p.m.
Neither the airline nor police had any other information.
“The safety of our employees and our customers is our top priority, and we are conducting a full investigation,” said Sarah Massier, spokeswoman for United Airlines.
