COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Chris Donovan had a goal and two assists, and Chris Rawlings had 34 saves as Northeastern beat Colorado College 4-3 Saturday to earn a split of their weekend series.

Donovan’s first goal of the season at 19:04 of the second period turned out to be the game-winner for the Huskies (1-1-0). Donovan also assisted on first-period goals by Robbie Vrolyk and Garrett Vermeersch, helping Northeastern to a 3-1 lead.

Tyler McNeely also scored in the first period for the Huskies.

Colorado College’s Mike Testwuide had two goals. Tyler Johnson scored at 9:34 of the third period to bring the Tigers (1-1-0) within one goal. But Rawlings was unbeatable the rest of the way.

Tyler O’Brien had 24 saves for Northeastern.
