A man in his 20s was stabbed during an argument with another man outside an apartment clubhouse in Highlands Ranch.

Bryce Bailey, 35, was arrested as a suspect in the attack, said Cocha Heyden, a spokeswoman with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.

The incident happened at about 12:40 a.m. today at 6700 Palomino Parkway, Heyden said.

The two men were arguing inside a clubhouse at the Palomino Park Resort apartments and took the argument outside where it escalated into a fight and the stabbing, Heyden said.

The victim, who was stabbed in the stomach, was taken to a local hospital where he remains this morning. Details on his condition were not available.

Bailey is being held at the Douglas County Jail in lieu of $500,000 bond, Heyden said.

An investigation into the stabbing is ongoing.
