ALBUQUERQUE — The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta ended Sunday with a fizzle after events were canceled due to windy weather.
Fiesta officials decided at an early morning pilot’s meeting that the winds were too strong to allow the morning’s mass ascension of hundreds of balloons to proceed.
