Quarterback Kyle Orton played his best game as a Bronco, completing 35 passes for 330 yards and two touchdowns, and masterfully drove the team down the field for the game-tying and game-winning scores.

After giving up 17 first-half points, the Broncos defense shut down Tom Brady and the Patriots and held them scoreless after halftime. The Broncos have allowed only one second-half touchdown all season.

Less pressure:
The Broncos’ defense had 15 sacks in the first four games. Sunday, the Broncos sacked Tom Brady once (though it did cause him to fumble). Brady frequently had plenty of time to throw.
Moreno fumbles:
Rookie running back Know- shon Moreno lost his second fumble of the season in the first quarter. Moreno rushed 21 times for 88 yards and caught four passes for 36 yards.
