A blast of arctic air hit Denver Friday night, but you wouldn’t have known it inside the . A capacity crowd of fervent fans kept things plenty warm as German industrial rock veterans stopped in to deliver a evening of their signature “ultra heavy beats.”

Sascha Konietzko (the band’s only constant for the past 25 years) and Lucia Cifarelli stood at the helm turning knobs and alternating vocals, while guitarists Steve White and Jules Hodgson wove in melody and distortion. A mix of old and new were on tap for the night, starting with “D.I.Y.” and followed by an unrelenting set that included “Hau Ruck,” “A Drug Against War” and “Godlike,” just to name a few. — Tina Hagerling
