LINCOLN, Neb.—Nebraska practiced indoors in helmets and shoulder at the Hawks Championship Center in preparation for its game against Texas Tech on Saturday.
Defensive coordinator Carl Pelini said the coaching staff pushed the players throughout the two-hour practice Wednesday.
Pelini said Tech’s spread offense will be a challenge to defend. The Red Raiders pass 70 percent of the time, but Pelini said the Huskers can’t afford to overlook Tech’s running game. Tech rushed for 185 yards and averaged 7.1 yards per attempt against Kansas State last week.
