A fatal motorcycle-truck collision at 7:56 p.m. Wednesday closed down U.S. Highway 36 just north of Nelson Road in Boulder County.
An adult male from Colorado riding a 2001 Harley-Davidson motorcyle was killed in the crash involving a 2002 Ford F-350, said Colorado State Patrol Cpl. Eric Wynn.
Wynn said he was unable to disclose further details tonight about the fatality, or whether the driver of the truck, a man from New York state, sustained any injuries. Names were not released.
Wynn said at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday that it wasn’t known when Highway 36, closed in both directions, would be cleared, except that it would be reopened before the Thursday morning commute.
