Police have arrested a man suspected of stabbing a woman multiple times in what Denver police describe as a domestic attack.
The stabbing happened early Monday, and the woman was found at about 4:50 a.m. behind a grocery store at 7400 E. Hampden Ave., Denver police said.
The victim, who suffered “multiple stab wounds to her extremities” was taken to Denver Health Medical Center and was in serious condition, police said.
Eulalio Chavez, 33, was arrested Monday night in Aurora, said Sonny Jackson, a Denver Police Department spokesman.
Chavez is being held at the Denver Jail on suspicion of first-degree assault and attempted murder, police said.
