Battling through a sore throat and a cold, singer Beth Ditto belted out song after song at the on Monday night. Relying on the crowd to fill in the set some of the time, Gossip played for over an hour. Finishing off the night with a cover of Queen’s “We Are the Champions,” Gossip took back the “Gayest song ever!” from the jocks. It was quite a show, even if Beth could always hit the high notes due to her illness that night. — Joe McCabe
