A fire erupted this afternoon at a home in the 8400 block of Colorado 7, close to the Larimer County line.
The Estes Park Fire Department received the call at 1:39 p.m., and Allenspark and Estes Park fire departments responded, said Cmdr. Joe Gang of the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office.
When fire crews arrived, the structure was fully engulfed, and the blaze had spread to surrounding trees, Gang said.
No occupants were in the house at the time, and there were no vehicles in the driveway, neighbors said.
“At this point, the fire is under control, and the trees are out,” Gang said.
