Top-flight Colorado recruits Austin Hinder and Chris Martin will be invited to play in this season’s 10th U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
Steamboat Springs will have a ceremony for Hinder, a quarterback, at school Wednesday; Martin, a defensive end, will have his at Grandview on Friday.
Hinder-led Steamboat Springs is ranked No. 2 in The Denver Post/9News Class 3A poll and entered weekend play 7-0 overall, 6-0 in the Western Slope League. Hinder, 6-foot-5, 185 pounds, has committed to California.
Martin, 6-5, 240, has helped Grandview to 5A’s No. 8 ranking. The Wolves were 5-2 entering the weekend. He has committed to Notre Dame.
The game will be Jan. 9 at the Alamodome in San Antonio.
