GREELEY, Colo.—More than 400 people mistakenly were told their drivers licenses could be suspended because of a computer glitch at Greeley’s municipal court.
A court computer system reported wrong case settlements to the state DMV, which issued the warnings.
City clerk Betsy Holder says a software company sent a patch to fix the glitch this week. Residents who mistakenly received the DMV notices should have their records cleared by the end of this week.
Holder says the problem seemed to affect traffic cases with multiple charges that ended in plea agreements.
