Colorado’s Low-income Energy Assistance Program, which provides financial assistance with home-heating bills, has received increased funding for the winter season.
LEAP will begin accepting applications for assistance Monday and will continue through April 30.
According to Todd Jorgen sen, director of LEAP, additional federal funding has increased LEAP’s total budget for assistance this winter to $70 million.
