Getting your player ready...
LINCOLN, Neb.—Nebraska defensive coordinator Carl Pelini says Baylor’s offense will present a big challenge with its speed.
Pelini said after Wednesday’s practice that his defensive backs will get get tested in a lot of one-on-one situations and will have to be prepared for the Bears’ trying to take shots down the field Saturday.
Pelini said Kendall Wright, who has 36 catches in seven games, and David Gettis, who has 24 receptions, are especially dangerous.
Baylor coach Art Briles said this week that he’ll likely will start Nick Florence at quarterback. The freshman has taken turns with Blake Szymanski filling in for the injured Robert Griffin.
