LINCOLN, Neb.—Nebraska coach Bo Pelini isn’t saying who’ll start at quarterback against Baylor on Saturday.

The Cornhuskers finished preparations for the game in Waco, Texas, with a 1-hour, 40-minute practice in the Hawks Championship Center on Thursday.

Zac Lee has started all seven games, but the Huskers have lost two straight, including a 9-7 defeat to Iowa State in which the Huskers committed a school record-tying eight turnovers. Pelini has said he’s looking for someone to provide a spark to the struggling offense.

Pelini did announce that receiver Chris Brooks would not make the trip. Brooks has had a hip problem for two weeks.

The coach said running back Roy Helu Jr. has improved after battling shoulder problems. Dontrayevous Robinson, Austin Jones and Lester Ward also could figure in the mix at running back against Baylor.
