A student found dead in a college dorm room near downtown Denver has been identified by authorities.
Taylor Dorsey, 21, a Community College of Denver student, was found dead in a room at 318 Walnut St., according to the Denver Medical Examiners Office.
Dorsey was pronounced dead at about 6:40 p.m. Thursday, according to the coroner’s office.
The cause and manner of his death are pending autopsy and laboratory results.
Police do not suspect foul play, said Sonny Jackson, a Denver Police Department spokesman.
Dorsey was found unresponsive inside a dormitory room at the Campus Village at Auraria.
The village houses students from the Community College of Denver, Metropolitan State College of Denver, and the University of Colorado Denver.
