COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Forbes Travel Guide has given a five-star rating to The Broadmoor resort’s Penrose Room restaurant.
The Broadmoor says the Forbes guide, formerly the Mobil Travel Guide, also gave the Colorado Springs resort and its spa a five-star rating. It’s the 50th consecutive year The Broadmoor has earned five stars from Mobil.
The Little Nell in Aspen also won a five-star rating.
Mobil also gave three Colorado hotels four-star ratings—Denver’s historic Brown Palace Hotel, the St. Regis Resort in Aspen and The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch in Avon.
The Brown Palace has had a four-star rating every year since 1967.
