A hunter was found dead Thursday night inside a tent in a Pitkin County camp.
The victim, identified Friday as 51-year-old David Parmeter of Willits, was found by a friend and fellow hunter about 9:15 p.m., according to the Pitkin County Sheriff’s Office.
A party of four, including Parmeter, was hunting in the Triangle Peak area about 12 miles outside of Aspen, when the death took place, the Sheriff’s Office said.
