Tim Tebow, Florida: In a tight one against South Carolina, the Gators’ senior quarterback got his 53rd career touchdown to tie the SEC record held by Kevin Faulk (1995-98). Tebow finished with 199 yards passing (14-of-25) and 26 yards rushing in the No. 1 Gators’ 24-14 victory over the Gamecocks.
Colt McCoy, Texas: The Longhorns’ senior quarterback, right, didn’t have to put in a full day against Baylor, leaving in the third quarter with a 40-0 lead. But it was enough to tie him with former Georgia star David Greene for the most career victories (42) by a major-college quarterback.
Mark Ingram, Alabama: The sophomore back rushed for 149 yards on 19 carries with two touchdowns, including a 70-yarder untouched, as the No. 3 Tide rolled past Missisippi State. He now has 1,297 yards rushing (10 TDs) and another 225 receiving (three TDs).
