A Broomfield man was arrested this morning after he carried a gun and made threats inside Exempla Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette police said.
The hospital was briefly on lockdown until police arrested 59-year-old Ric Frederick A. Ridley and took away the pistol, according to a statement.
Police said Ridley brought a woman to the hospital about 11 a.m. The woman, who was not named by police, gave the medical staff a note saying Ridley was drunk and had a gun on him.
Ridley is in the Boulder County Jail facing felony and misdemeanor menacing charges, police said.
