Thomas William Boyle, 48, of Lakewood is being held for investigation of vehicular homicide, felony hit-and-run and driving under the influence in connection with the death of a pedestrian killed Monday night in Lakewood.
The pedestrian, Raymond Rivera, 48, was trying to cross South Harlan Street at West Alameda Avenue when he was hit, said Steve Davis, spokesman for the Lakewood Police Department.
According to Davis, Rivera, of Denver, was hit about 6 p.m. by a white Ford van that was northbound on Harlan Street.
Although the van left the scene, witnesses were able to give police a description of the vehicle.
