Getting your player ready...

If you have a musical background and can work a piano keyboard, the city of Denver could use your help this holiday season.

The city’s looking for volunteers to carry on a longstanding city tradition: playing the bells at the City and County building. Between Thanksgiving and Christmas, shifts are available to play the 10 bells from 7:30-8:15 p.m. nightly and from noon to 12:45 p.m. on weekdays. Typically, a dozen volunteers have filled the shifts in the past, but for whatever reason this year there aren’t enough to go around.

Anyone interested in volunteering should contact Facilities Manager Suzi Latona at suzi.latona@denvergov.org. Please inclue your contact information, availability and musical credentials.
