University of Colorado at Boulder sophomore and fine arts major Nicole Fox beat 13 other modeling hopefuls in Season 13 of the modeling reality show hosted by Tyra Banks to become “America’s Next Top Model,” petite version, the Daily Camera reported.
All the participants this season were 5-foot-7 or shorter, smaller than most runway models.
In the finale, which aired Wednesday on the CW, Fox and Kentucky farm girl Laura Kirkpatrick shot a commercial for CoverGirl and participated in a runway fashion show. Fox will receive a $100,000 contract with CoverGirl Cosmetics, a contract with Wilhelmina Models and a cover and spread in Seventeen Magazine.
