A bunch of boutiques pop up each year to coincide with holiday events, like this weekend’s L’Esprit de Noel home tour at Lowry to benefit Central City Opera. The temporary shops are often a good place to pick up hostess and girlfriend gifts, fun things for children, interesting accessories and food items. Thirty five vendors will be at L’Esprit Gift Boutique at the Stanley British Primary School Gymnasium, 350 Quebec St., from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
