BOULDER, Colo.—Boulder Valley School District teachers are finishing their voting on a proposed contract offer that includes a 1 percent cost-of-living increase and full coverage of health and dental benefits.

The voting comes after months of negations, with the teachers union and the school district struggling to agree on the provisions of a new contract.

Teachers have been voting this week at each of the 55 schools in the district and the union says it will announce the results Friday.

A strike is possible if the teachers reject the district’s latest offer.
