Two men who had been kicked out of Saturday’s Night Club on East Colfax Avenue returned to the club early Saturday morning, and one of them fatally shot a man, police say.
The victim, whose identity has not been released, was shot in the head, said Lt. Matt Murray, a spokesman for the Denver Police Department.
Sometime Friday night, the two men were involved in a fight in the club at 8315 E. Colfax Ave. and were kicked out, Murray said.
The two returned to the club after 3 a.m. and one of them fatally shot a customer at the bar whom he had been fighting earlier, he said. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police were called at 3:25 a.m. after the suspects fled, Murray said.
Police are searching for the shooter and his companion. Neither has been identified.
