For the record: New York (6-4) at Denver (6-4)

Last game: The Giants won their first game in a month with a 34-31 overtime victory against Atlanta at Giants Stadium on Sunday. Lawrence Tynes kicked the game-winning field goal 3:49 into overtime.

Who’s hot: Quarterback Eli Manning is getting help from a trio of young wide receivers who seem to be continually improving. Steve Smith, Mario Manningham and Hakeem Nicks combined for 15 catches and 270 receiving yards against Atlanta, led by Manningham’s six for 126.

Who’s not: The Giants rank No. 7 in rushing yards, but the duo of Brandon Jacobs and Ahmad Bradshaw was cold on Sunday, combining for only 73 yards and one touchdown. Bradshaw did not practice Monday because of a foot/ankle injury.

Key stat: The Giants’ defense is ranked second in total yards (282.2) and passing yards (177.4) allowed, yet it is No. 24 in points allowed, at an average of 23.5 per game.

Coachspeak: “It’s nice to win. We were miserable around here for a month.” Giants coach Tom Coughlin, after his team snapped its four-game losing streak
