WHITEFISH, Mont.—The Frontier Conference has named University of Great Falls guard Kristy Henderson the women’s basketball player of the week.
The 5-foot-8 junior from Aurora, Colo., set a single game scoring record in Great Falls’ 97-92 loss to Southern Oregon over the weekend. Henderson averaged 30.5 points and seven rebounds during UGF’s weekend games, which included a 112-61 loss to Vanguard.
Henderson hit 62 percent, or 21-of-34, from the field.
