SAGE RESTAURANT GROUP: Announced that Carlos Ruiz has been named executive chef at The Corner Office Restaurant + Martini Bar at the Curtis Hotel. Ruiz most recently served as the executive chef at the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park.

GRANTMAKERS IN HEALTH: Appointed Anne Warhover, president and chief executive of the Colorado Health Foundation, to the board of directors. Her term begins in March.

FIRSTBANK HOLDING CO.: Awarded five students at the University of Colorado at Boulder four-year full scholarships. They are: Natasha Funk (Dove Creek High School), Patrick O’Brien (Cherry Creek High School), Sarah Kelly (Littleton High School), Matthew Bull (Nederland High School) and Megan Novak (Thornton High School).

MT. EVANS HOSPICE & HOME HEALTH CARE: Recently elected Rodney Hock president, John Haile vice president and Allyson Gottsman secretary. Scott Purcell was re-elected treasurer. New members of the board of directors include Laura A. Belsten, Robert L. Gibbs, Janine Guillen, Diane Rising and Douglas S. Spencer.
