LINCOLN, Neb.—Nebraska’s Ndamukong Suh (en-DOM-uh-ken Soo) is a finalist for another major college football award.
The senior nose tackle on Saturday was named a finalist for the Lott Trophy as the nation’s outstanding defensive player.
Other finalists are Tennessee’s Eric Berry, Alabama’s Rolando McClain and TCU’s Jerry Hughes. The winner will be named Dec. 13 in Newport Beach, Calif.
Suh also is a finalist for the Lombardi Award, Outland Trophy, Nagurski Trophy and the Bednarik Award. He is among 15 players on the “players to watch list” for the Walter Camp Player of the Year Award.
