MONTROSE, Colo.—Montrose police say two women who fell four or five stories while exploring an old power plant with a third person are recovering.

The three could face charges including unlawful entry.

Police say 23-year-old Rebecca Miller and 19-year-old Stephanie Pickett may have been drinking with friends early Friday before exploring the former Delta-Montrose Electrical Association power plant in the dark.

Police Cmdr. Gene Lillard says the two plunged between four and five stories to the concrete yard below. Police say Joshua Drown also fell and was hanging in the air by his backpack.

Miller was taken to a hospital in Grand Junction and was released. Lillard says Pickett was flown to Denver with fractures to her leg, back and neck.
