Getting your player ready...

Records: Denver (8-4); Indianapolis (12-0)

Last game: The Colts beat division rival Tennessee 27-17 at Lucas Oil Stadium for their 21st consecutive regular-season victory.

Who’s hot: At 12-0, just about everyone. But few players are playing as well as quarterback Peyton Manning, who leads the NFL with 3,685 passing yards, and is running an offense that is scoring 27.6 points per game.

Who’s not: The Colts’ running game isn’t scaring anyone — but with Manning, does it have to? Indianapolis is last in the league with 87.7 rushing yards per game, and starter Joseph Addai hasn’t rushed for more than 79 yards in any game this year.

Key stat: The Colts average 302.8 passing yards this season, best in the league. Denver’s defense has yet to allow 300 yards to any passer this season.

FYI: The Colts can clinch home-field advantage throughout the AFC playoffs with a win Sunday.

Coachspeak: “We kind of identify the milestones on Wednesday morning when we get in. We talk about some of the things we’re accomplishing. The guys appreciate it, but it’s not something that goes to their heads.” — Colts coach Jim Caldwell, on the number of milestones his team can reach in coming weeks
