George Curtis, a special adviser to Securities and Exchange Commission Enforcement Director Robert Khuzami, left the agency to return to Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP in Denver, where he previously spent more than 30 years.
Curtis, 62, joined the SEC as a regional director in Denver in 2006 and was promoted to be a deputy director for the enforcement division in 2008.
