PNM Resources promoted former Xcel Energy executive Pat Vincent-Collawn to chief executive.
She replaces Jeff Sterba, who will retire March 1 after a decade as CEO. He will remain chairman.
Vincent-Collawn, 51, was president and CEO of Public Service Co. of Colorado, a subsidiary of Xcel, before joining PNM in June 2007 as utilities president. She was named PNM’s chief operating officer in August 2008.
