CENTENNIAL — The Arapahoe County Clerk and Recorder believes a driver intentionally crashed his pickup truck into a motor vehicle office after he was turned away.
The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office says a tan or silver Dodge or Chevy full-size truck crashed into the DMV office on East Arapahoe Road near South Peoria Street about 4:30 p.m. Friday.
The truck broke two windows and damaged a window frame. No one was injured.
Deputies say a man was turned away from the office just before the incident. “I think someone was upset because the office was closed and he didn’t get in, so he decided to drive his truck through the window,” Clerk and Recorder Nancy Doty said.
Investigators are reviewing surveillance video, trying to identify the vehicle.
