Getting your player ready...
LINCOLN, Neb.—Nebraska football coach Bo Pelini says there will be no major changes in the team’s offense before the Holiday Bowl on Dec. 30.
Pelini says the focus now is on improving. He expects offensive changes to wait for the offseason.
The Cornhuskers practiced for an hour and a half on Saturday in preparation for the game against Arizona. Another practice is scheduled for Sunday.
Pelini says bowl practices allow the younger players to get more experience. They get extra work on the field and extra time in the weight room.
Pelini and other members of the coaching staff planned to travel to New York later Saturday for the Heisman Trophy presentation. Defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh is among the finalists.
