LINCOLN, Neb.—Nebraska football coach Bo Pelini has announced June 2 as the date for the Bo Pelini Foundation’s Football 101, presented by the Southeast Nebraska Cancer Center.
Football 101 is held on campus at the Hawks Championship Center and the adjoining Memorial Stadium and nearby Champions Club. It’s a class that addresses the basics of football and is geared toward a female audience.
Participation from current players, running plays on the field, personal interaction with the Cornhuskers coaches and the tunnel walk are many of the features of Football 101.
Registration costs $95, with $65 tax deductible, and can be completed online at BoPeliniFoundation.com. Proceeds from Football 101 go to the fight against breast cancer.
