GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.—A 20-year-old man with a long criminal record is suspected of shooting five people at a home near Grand Junction over the weekend.
Police are holding Joshua Gregory Anton in the shootings at a home in the Fruitvale neighborhood. Police have not identified any of the victims, but say they are all being treated at a Grand Junction hospital.
Anton was arrested Sunday, about four hours after the shootings.
The suspected gunman pleaded guilty already this year in two separate criminal cases. Anton’s record includes charges of assault, burglary, menacing with a weapon and property damage.
