ROME — Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, 73, remained in the hospital Monday after being bloodied in an attack at a political rally Sunday.
Massimo Tartaglia, a 42-year-old with a history of psychological problems, was held after striking Berlusconi with a statuette, breaking the prime minister’s nose and two teeth.
