Representatives of United Food and Commercial Workers Local 7 were counting ballots Monday night on a contract offer from King Soopers and Safeway.
A union spokeswoman said it was not known when the tally would be completed and when results would be announced.
The grocers last month submitted what they termed a “last, best and final” offer to UFCW members, who have been working without a contract since May.
The final offer includes annual wage increases of 25 to 30 cents an hour for journeymen workers, larger corporate contributions to pension funds and reductions in retirement benefits.
